Dash for the Cure is proceeding as planned and CarolAnn Garratt and Carol Foy expect to depart Orlando on Dec. 2nd and return to Orlando on Dec. 10th. If you haven't checked their website, please do: www.alsworldflight.com. Sign up to receive the Dash Newsletter.  Their goal is to raise $1 million for ALS research.  In this issue of Happy Landings (if you get it delivered), you will find a packet of information on the world flight and ALS. There will also be an envelope for your donation.  If your newsletter is received by .pdf, you will find the packet on your doormat.    Carol Ann mentioned that several of you have already donated on line (at the above website.) Thank you very much!   I will collect any donations (just call me, or e-mail me) or you can bring them to our Welcome Back Party, which will be when they return, possibly Wednesday, Dec 10th or the 11th,depending how long they will be in Africa.  There will be a notice posted on the bulletin board and I will send out an e-mail, on the exact date and time of our Welcome Back coffee/cookies at the Red Barn.  CarolAnn will talk briefly about the trip as we welcome her back.  Full details on her trip in early 2009!

  Good luck CarolAnn and Carol!
